Yesterday was amazing!

I've not been able to write in such a long time. I'm not sure what the problem was. I mean yes I could go over my other things, clean and read through them but trying to write new was near impossible. I've been struggling with Chase for so long now it isn't even amusing.

Then yesterday! Yesterday it was like my muse had finally come back full steam! I wrote 40 pages! 10000 words IN ONE DAY!!! Geez, maybe I should get a spinal tap more often? Not only did it drain some of the fluid but here it is two weeks later and the muse has been unblocked! WAHOO!!!!

Will I be able to repeat this performance? Probably not. I haven't written a book in a month in almost a year. So I'm not holding out for this to be one of those. BUT I am getting there! I only need 118 more pages to meet my goal! I'm so excited! Now if I could at least do 5 pages a day I can have this book finished in about a month. I am hoping to get it done sooner since edits on CJ will be in shortly.

Callye's Justice is going to be a great book for me. I know that anyone who likes a little romance with their suspense and action is going to love not just this book but the entire series! Callye's Justice does have minor violence, a lot of action and some language. I wouldn't categorize it as overly graphic but it isn’t a lighthearted book either.

I do enjoy writing light comedy books. The witches are an example. Also the Vampire I've got still in the works, the werewolf that goes with the vampire. Comedy is fun. How profound. I truly enjoy writing comedy but for some reason I’m drawn to the darker world of suspense. Please don’t ask why. I can't explain it.

I really shouldn't be surprised. Anyone who has a home office, a home décor, inspired by Better Crypts and Cemeteries would be more predisposed to writing darker fare. I'd love to try my hand at a horror novel but I don’t know that I’m suited to that.

Thanks for hanging with me and I'll see you all next week! Happy reading!

Huggles,
Donica
