Almost Spring

Spring is in the air. For around here that means storms, heat with massive amounts of humidity and shifting weather fronts that can bring on tornadoes. Yippee…I get migraines every time the front shifts and I'm better than the weatherman at predicting the coming of storms. Oh well, it could always be worse, right?

I'm growing ever more anxious. The edits for Callye's Justice will be in before long and I'm so ready to begin them! I did learn I had miscalculated the word count and if I can't boost it by 3k the book will NOT be eligible for the print program...damn! I was so hoping to be there! As soon as I get the first round of edits and get an idea of what they want done I can determine addition and plumping. Please keep your fingers crossed I can meet the goal!

Maryna has been in the editor box for a week now. I'd love to be her only author so I could know right now if it is going to make the grade or not. I've got to learn patience. Unfortunately I failed patience 101 a total of 10 times so far. Looks like I'm taking a header into number 1...
How about another fun art alteration? This painting is called La persistencia de la memoria (The Persistence of Memory) or Melting Clocks by Salvador Dali. Its a really wonderful peice and I really had alot of fun coming up with a caption to go with it. So here it is:

Yes this post is rather short. I've got a laundry list a mile long of things I absolutely MUST get done. I'd rather be here, trust me! Maybe I can get Betraying Chase back in the flow and get more written.

Have a great week and I'll see you all Wednesday!

Huggles!
Donica
