HAPPY THANKSGIVING

This is just a quick fly by to wish those of who celebrate, a happy Thanksgiving. May the joys of being with family and friends bring you closer than ever.

I know that some of you have been seperated from your family. Soldiers who are putting their lives on the line for our freedom; Families devistated by Katrina, Rita, the recent quakes, all are in my thoughts today as they have suffered such losses. We've recently been seperated from our son, and it makes this day so difficult for me. I know only a portion of the pain the families of others are going through and I'm sorry for everyone who suffers this agony. We are among the ones who may one day be reunited with our son, for many this isn't the case. For you, my heart aches. May the warmth and healing spirit of those around give you the strength to endure. I know I've been lucky, my family and my friends have been here with me, holding my hand as I try to process and deal with his absence.

Sorry, I have tried to keep my personal life out of this daily blog. I only wanted you all to see the good things in my life, and I do have many things to be thankful for, but today my pain is so great, it makes it hard to go forward.

There will be no Did You Know today. Check back tomorrow, hopefully I'll be back in the swing again.

Blessings to you all!
Donica
