They said what?

Callye’s Justice comes out on Tuesday. It’s been a long road and I’m so thrilled to see it’s finally arriving. So I thought I’d share a few of my favorite lines from the book:

1. “Good thing. I’d have to hunt them down. Get rid of the competition.”
2. “You realize that too much exposition at a crucial time like this can be extremely detrimental to one’s plans.”
3. “Unfortunately, Mouse and his friends had a run-in with an exterminator.”
4. “No shit, Sherlock. I’m DEA Agent Justice Bernard. Now get me a friggin’ phone before I take off your head.”
5. “There goes the working relationship we used to have with St. Louis P.D.”
6. “Yeah, he gave me all the details while he tried to kill me.”
7. “You…hate…my zucchini bread.”
8. “Is there a better word than hell? Or worse? Screw it. Whatever, that’s where I am.”
9. “We know you weren’t an English major.”
10. “We trump cops.”
11. “Mother Terese, hmm I like it. Has a nice ring to it, don’t you think?”
12. “Passed out drunk doesn’t qualify as sleep.”
13. “Just great. I’m thinking of organizing a prison riot as soon as I step foot inside. How about you?”
