Akansas was lovely as always and the cold didn't completely impede activities. Feeding the yearlings and cattle, hiking in the woods, taking pictures, and most important of all spending time with my amazing grandparents and parents. My uncle also drove in from North Little Rock and spent the afternoon with us on Saturday.
I took some pix of the ice formations along our favorite ATV route. Thanks to the damn tree huggers most of our favorite ATV trails have been restricted but at least we were able to drive along in the truck. Yes I'm very angry with the crap that has been pulled by the people who have designated themselves conservationists. Don’t get me wrong here. I do believe in conservation. But I also believe there is a line that has been crossed.
Before this crap of you can't ride here, here or here came up as a family we were able to spend the day riding along the woods and having my grandparents show us trails, spots of historical importance to our family. Now we can no longer enjoy this activity. The trails can be walked but my grandparents aren't able to hike all over like they could in their youth. These new laws have done nothing but ensure that older people and those with disabilities can no longer enjoy the beauty of the forests. So to all of you who went out of your way to make the beautiful woods inaccessible to all the rest of us, you can kiss me where I sit. Thank you so much for making sure that you destroyed a good thing.
Anyway, I'm off my soapbox for now.
These pictures were taken on our drive. Enjoy!
