What a find!

Recently I found Meggie's diary and it is filled with many secrets. I'll share an entry a day for a while and maybe we will be privy to all the knowledge she has. I knew when I interviewed her that she wasn't telling me everything. Now to find out what it is she is holding back!

First entry taken from Meggie's diary:

April 21, 2006

It has begun. The girls have felt the urge to find a mate. This time around they have come up with the idea of a contest. It has been so long ago I can't even remember what the last generation of girls dreamed up. I wish I had thought to write it down.

Before I know it, the time will come for them to learn the truth. That is never the easy part of this job. I so love my girls. I’ve loved them all but soon it will be my time to pass on all I’ve learned to the next Elemental Guardian. Already I feel my time coming to an end. Once my girls each have their mates and go through the joining ceremony I shall share the secret and then pass on from this life. I just worry so about Ember. Her fiery temper may prevent her finding her mate, who ever he is.

I’ve told them to contact me once they find a mortal to catch and I will assign them a chaperone. I expect to get a call from them soon that they’ve located their mortal and then the race will be on. I pray that my girls will find happiness.
