Addendum

Ok What next??? Chicago is now telling people what they can and can't eat. That they cant smoke IN THEIR OWN VEHICLES if there is a small child in the car, you can't use your cell phone and drive. What in the hell is going on here??? What's next??? *shakes head*

When the Nazi's in our city council decided that no one could smoke in our local restaurants it made me angry. Taking away my right to choose. The businesses have lost money, because a handful of people think they have the right to tell all of us how to live. It should've been up to the business owners and the voters on this deal. But hey...its over, there is no changing it. We have tried. We just take out business elsewhere. These same nazi idiots tried to introduce a law that you couldn't smoke in YOUR OWN HOME if you had small children. That didn't work, thank God we still have the right to choose. But I digress, I thought we were the only town with idiots in office. I see now I was wrong.

What happened to the rights of the people? I have the right to own guns as long as I don't use them to shoot the annoying neighbor, the idiots in office or etc. I have the right to choose if I want to smoke in my own car or home, I have the right to worship God, I have the right to be outraged at the stupidity shown by people who are in office. Are there going to be people telling me what I can eat, when I can eat, what music to listen to, or movies to watch???

Ok I just am going to have to stop watching/reading the news and pray that this nonsense gets stopped by intelligent people putting their feet down and saying enough is enough. Lets start focusing on the REAL issues. Protecting our children from perverts, our country from terrorists, and our freedoms that we were given by the founders of our nation!

I don't have a problem with just and equitable laws. But there comes a point when this changes to taking away personal freedoms and choices, it goes too far. And folks that point is getting ever closer!

I'm sorry, I shouldn't be venting here, but when I see stuff like this happening it really does get my knickers in a knot. Before too long I'm going to be having someone telling me I can't wear shorts, I have to cover my face...puh-leeze!!!!!
