I got a great review for “Seeing the Light” from The Romance Studio and I want to thank Glenda at TRS for taking the time to read my book and saying such nice things about it. I received 4 hearts and this is what she had to say: This is a warm story of undying love and the tests that love sometimes must endure in order for us to understand what is truly important in life; a story meant for every true romantic. To see the full review please go to TRS.
*Todays Did You Know: Irish fairies fall into two main groups: sociable and solitary. Leprechauns are classified as extremely solitary they avoid humans at all costs, no communication with other fairies and even refuse to socialize with other Leprechaun clans. Although the leprechaun has been described as Ireland's national fairy, this name was originally only used in the north Leinster area.
They are always described as being two foot tall, dressed in green coats and hats and a shoemakers apron as they spend their time making the shoes other fairies wear. They are always described as gruff little men. There are no female leprechauns (I wonder how they reproduce? This may be a future Did You Know)
Leprechauns are extremely thrifty and hide their gold remarkably well. However it can be found if you listen closely for the sound of a shoemakers hammer and as the saying goes, follow the rainbow.
If you catch a leprechaun he will make great promises of enormous wealth if you only release him. He also carries two leather pouches one holds a silver coin the other a gold coin. He will try to tempt you to release him by offering one or the other. This is a nsty trick as the silver shilling will return to the pouch as soon as he runs off and the gold one will turn to leaves or dust when he disappears. Once you put him down to “follow” him to the pot of gold NEVER take your eyes off him, he can vanish in an instant.
