Anger and frustration

As you all know I recently pulled contracts from a publisher who I felt was giving me a raw deal. I was careful not to name said publisher. But now I will reveal the name so that all future authors know NOT to send manuscripts to this publishing house: By Grace and her sister house Moonlight Publishing.

For three years my books were listed with said publisher and I have TO THIS DATE received NO royalties. The publisher takes the stance that their contract states 50$ or higher receives payment. I can see this if the house was actually making the authors money. According to their accounting I haven't made sales of $50 in 3 years?!?!?!? How is that even possible.

If this publisher was owed money for a length of this time you know they would be screaming for payment!

Well I have sat back and kept silent. I asked for my payment and was told I was NOT entitled to the funds until the next quarter. And now I've been waiting an additional three months. TIMES UP!!!!

I encourage all authors to AVOID said publishing house unless you enjoy feeling like someone said bend over...

I'm giving her another week and if I have not seen my royalties I'm turning the matter over to an attorney. As well as the BBB. This is no way for a publishing house to run. IF I haven't made any money in 3 years then that means THEY haven't made any money which would = no business. I KNOW this isn't true.

Can you tell I'm angry? No? Then maybe I wasn't clear enough. I'm sick of being screwed over by certain people and as the song says I "ain't gonna take any more"!

Okay vented my frustration and am getting off my soapbox now.
