American Soldiers

I’ve been trying to avoid putting anything political in my blog posts because I feel certain topics are best kept personal but there is one thing I wish to say here.

I love my country. I feel that, though right now America is dealing with some issues in the government that I don’t agree with, I still support this land that I love.

I want to thank the Soldiers who every day put their lives on the line for my family. They sacrifice their time and their families to being in foreign lands so that we can live safe. I have issues with the war and I hate that so many of our people are dying everyday protecting my life and my freedoms. I pray for each of you everyday, I don’t care if you’re stationed in Iraq Iran, Germany, or anywhere else in the world my prayers go out for you and your families that you may come home safe.

I want to ask every reader out there, no matter your stance on the war, to show our military that you appreciate and support the sacrifice they make. Every Friday is what is being called Red Friday That is everyone in America who love their freedoms and support our service people wear red to show that support. This letter has gone around the Internet with different stories attached to it. Do I care if its not 100% accurate? I mean the stories that fill the emails. No, I don’t. If everyone who has read this email will take the message to heart and wear red then the basic message will be heard loud and clear and will show that we do support our military.

I’m not dissing any other country. I know that each one has its positive aspects, each one has a certain beauty all its own, but this is where I live, love and can be free to express myself without fear of reprisal. If this feeling has cost me readers, well I guess it has, there is nothing I can do about it. I will not change who I am or what I believe.

GOD BLESS AMERICA! Protect our people wherever they are. Let there be an end to the pain, the death and the suffering soon. THANK YOU SOLDIERS !!! YOU HAVE NOT BEEN FORGOTTEN!

Huggles,
Donica
