Have you heard this crap?

The postal service is raising the cost of stamps—AGAIN! As of May 2009 we’re to see a rate hike to .44$. This is beyond ridiculous.

I can hear people now: Donica, stop complaining, it’s only .02$! Nothing to get your knickers in a knot over.

I don’t know how your service is but around here? It sucks! In the last four years, I’ve had at least eight items lost by the post office (that averages to 2 a year folks!) Our delivery person is consistently late in delivering our mail. Used to we’d get our mail by 10 am. Now, we’re lucky if the delivery shows up by 5 pm.

If the mail isn’t lost its delayed. I’ve had things (sales flyers, book deliveries, etc) that were supposed to arrive within a certain time period only to have them arrive three to five days later. This is especially frustrating when it’s an awesome sale and I’ve missed it because my post person can’t manage to get it here on time.

They’ve given our mail to the neighbors, given us mail for a resident that hasn’t lived here for over 15 years (and we’ve told them this yet they still manage to do it…)

For such shoddy service we’re going to have to pay even HIGHER rates? This is why I prefer email. I don’t have to deal with the bulls*** that you get from the post office.
