Who would you cast?

I was chatting with a few readers and I shared excerpts from my upcoming release Dragon’s Angel. One of them said that she could see it as a movie.

This is amusing because I, and indeed most all I know, base my characters on specific people. We may change eye color, accents, hair color, etc but we use people, some famous, some not, as our springboards.

In my case, most of my characters are based in looks on famous actors or musicians, but their personalities are based on people I know. No, you won’t find my best friend perfectly portrayed in my books because my character might only need one of K’s obsessions. (Believe me, she’s got A LOT of them BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Ah the things you can be excused by a friend for!)

Anyway. So back to the question. Well let me see… The line up would be something like this:

Callye’s Justice
Justice Bernard (Rob Morrow) Callye Ann Simone (Charlize Theron)

Tides of Maryna’s Love:
River Braddock ( Hugh Jackman) Maryna Duile (Jennifer Connelly)

Dragon’s Angel:
Xavier Blake (Johnny Depp) Keely Morgan ( Portia de Rossi)

And what movie would be complete without a soundtrack? We’ll look at that another day…
