Tagged by MEME (Thanx Gator!)

I’ve been gotten. I don’t usually play along with these things but Gator tagged me and I thought WTH. This is an Unspectacular Meme. Here’s the details:First, the rules:1) Link to the person that tagged you. 2) Post the rules on your blog. 3) List six unspectacular quirks you have. 4) Tag six bloggers by linking them. 5) Leave a comment on each person's blog to let them know they've been tagged.

Six unspectacular things about me. Huh. This is hard

1. I’m a total research freak. I absolutely hate to find mistakes in books—mine or any one else’s. I know I’m not perfect. I’m sure people who know more than I do find mistakes in my books, but I try my hardest to make sure the little things are accurate. This doesn’t negate the creative license thing.

2. Gator listed one of her things as having a theme song for each of her books. Doesn’t everyone? I have an entire soundtrack for each book and these are played on a continuous loop. I can’t work unless there is music playing.

3. I LOVE Dr. Seuss. LOVE LOVE LOVE! At one time I had an entire collection of books but a flood destroyed them all. I’ve been trying to build the collection back up but its been slow going. When I was an EMT I did a tutoring session with a guy who was desperate to pass. At the end of the term, when he “graduated” he gave me a littlke book called Dr. Suessisms. Little quotes about every day things—Like Respecting your Elders: I Will NOT Hop on Pop…

4. I love classic films. Anything with Katherine Hepburn I just adore. Watching her be a total ditz and playing off Cary Grant’s stuffy David Huxley in Bringing Up Baby is just a hoot. But it’s not just Katherine I adore. Most all of the old comedies are in the bag for me. I also love the old horror films. Give me Bela Lugosi, Boris Karloff, or Lon Chaney (and LC Jr.) any day!

5. I’ve had many jobs over my life time: Security Guard, Security Guard Supervisor, Waitress, bus girl, prep cook, dishwasher, asst manager in a clothing store, Babysitter, Emergency Medical Technician, and EMT Lieutenant (and training officer) Stay at home mom, and author. My three favorite jobs in order of faves: 1) Stay at home mom 2) EMT 3) Author

6. I go through yearly phases in my reading. At one time I was majorly into Pre-Civial and Civil War period—I purchased and read everything I could get my hands on both factual and fiction. I also never throw anything away so I have a library that includes Nazi Germany and WWII, Knights Templar, Celtic history, Native American history, Magic/Witchcraft/Wizardry, Guns and Ammunitions, most any subject you can imagine. Comes in handy for myself or when my kids needed stuff for school work.

My turn to tag six…Let me see now….

How about a couple of Bats:
