Feeling stronger every day

Well, I am happy to say I think the worst is finally behind me. I developed a massive infection that led to several hours in the ER. But after huge doses of antibiotic I am feeling better and the infection is slowly leaving my body. I still have limited use of my arm but even that seems to be improving.

Now on to the even better news: CALLYE'S JUSTICE arrived at my house. I am completely stoked! I couldn't wait to rip into the box. The cover, all clean, was like satin as my fingers glided over the surface. The smell of the pages were sweeter than any flower. I could (and almost did) stare at them for hours. And of course I had to take pictures!!! I scared the poor UPS guy. I got the box and I shrieked with joy.

Tuesday is when the book will be available for the rest of the world. I have already been asked to sign the copies that various people (and they AREN'T family!!!!) purchase. Of course I said yes!

I've also been trying to complete round 2 of edits for Dragon's Angel. It's not easy as I'm still not quite up to sitting at the computer for hours at a time. I do have a personal notebook computer that I was given (My DIL gave it to me when she got her new laptop--wasn't she sweet!!!) Unfortunately while the thing is PERFECT for writing new material and playing games on, edits aren't so great. The screen is almost too small and I'm not able to read ahead to work out what changes make sense. It's frustrating for me because I'm the type that always have my edits back to the editor within 24-48 hours. It's now been almost a week since I received them and they still aren't done--and these are only the first 7 chapters! I'm scared I won't get them finished. They are next on my list for today. I need to get into them before my arm gives out.

So, I'm going to leave you with hugs and the subliminal message: please buy my book. What? I was supposed to actually bury it in the blog somewhere? OOPS! My bad. ROFL

May you have a fabulous weekend and I'll see you again soon!
