Happy Thursday! It’s been a while since I did a Thursday Thirteen hasn’t it?

BS Part Deux!

So, how about the answers from last weeks T13?

1. I won the following awards: BEST paranormal romance of 2005, BEST romantic suspense 2005, BEST contemporary romance 2005, and BEST inspirational romance 2006. Yes, actually I did and it was an AMAZING experience!

2. I write horror under a pseudonym. True again—I write as Jinger Jackson

3. I grew up riding horses and had a couple when I was a kid—True. We actually had a total of 6 at various times. My first horse was received when I was about 9.

4. I spent my childhood summers in Texas with my grandparents. I played around the oil derricks in the fields all summer long.—FALSE. Arkansas was and still is my playground.
5. I was in choir, a chamber choir, I competed in solo competitions in Nashville—True. I even met a Nashville producer. Don’t ask me how it went, it wasn’t pretty.

6. I modeled in a fashion show when I was in high school—True. Our school had an annual Mother-Daughter tea, one year we had some fashion retailers come in, and we girls modeled the clothes. Great way to build up sales, right?

7. My best friend and I have known each other for forty years—this one’s too hard to answer as it would give my age away (does that give you any hints?)

8. I have four children and my son is married with a baby girl—False. I have five--My son, daughter, daughter-in-law and husband. (What woman hasn't counted her husband as one of her kids at least once in their relationship?)

9. I absolutely despise dogs—Okay this was a gimme! How can you read my blog, or check my website and not know that I’m absolutely wild for dogs!

10. I love riding ATVs and will ride whenever I get the chance—True. There is enough enough time in the day or enough places to play on my four-wheeler

11. I’m a member of the NRA—Not yet. Waiting on my membership cards as I write.

12. I love to go swimming in the creek—True. I love the creek. It’s wild, its crystal clear, most times its just me, the birds in the air, the fish under the water and the snakes on the rocks.

13. I was on a Trivia team in high school, we competed nationally and won second place—True. Don’t you remember me talking about the fact that I’m a fount of useless information? I still have my medal and awards pictures around here..somewhere…
