Check out the video! I made it over the weekend. I know I should be writing but I'm too wound up. I leave for a weekend get away with my best friend. Arkansas. No kids. No husbands. No phones. No computer and unless they fixed the problem no electricity.

The tornadoes that went through Arkansas last weekend did a number on the area. The hospital was hit pretty hard. Cars were torn from the parking lot. The auto dealer across the way had their cars picked up and tossed into the hospital.

The folks back there have had no power since last weekend. I can't imagine how the old folks manage. My grandparents have been dealing with a fire place to help keep them warm.

Power is supposed to be restored today or tomorrow. Lets hope!

I'm trying to work on my next witch--Ember. While I love writing about my murderers, drug dealers and justice I needed a change. I never realized how much writing negative plot lines affected my every day life. Having to get intense set me on edge and tension built.

As Jinger I'm working on another horror. Twisted and dark its also intense. I don't know how Stephen King and Anne Rice do it. I hope to be on their caliber one day--if I can get through the insanity. LOL

I think I need a change of pace and after this weekend spent relaxing and having no responsibilities I can come back refreshed and ready to dive into work full force.
