The world lost a true icon today. Luciano Pavarotti died. If you have never given opera a chance at all then you really should give the Maestro one listen. For some his operatic voice is too strong. I recommend listening to The Three Tenors: Pavarotti, Placido Domingo, and Jose Carreras.

It wasn't until hearing the story on the news this morning and hearing his voice that I finally realized what a rare, rare talent he was.
Took me long enough... and I've been to the opera, too!
