T13 Latin Strikes Again

I found that I really like Latin. My Best Friend and I were out Friday night and the Latin came in handy. We used 2 phrases quite often. They were "Non Gradus Anus Rodentum" and "Viri Sunt Viri". If you are interested in the meaning refer to last weeks Latin T13. I've got a couple of more weeks worth of Latin. I'm glad I did this ahead of time. Round 2 of edits on my book Callye's Justice arrived last night so I'm going to be hiding away. I guess you're going to get tired of the Latin, it being so predictable and all. Sorry for that. If I had more time I'd do something new and in a few weeks I may be able to, I hope!

Well here we go!

Latin quotes from movies and television. Enjoy!

1. Certe, toto, sentio nos in kansate non iam adesse - You know, Toto, I have a feeling we're not in Kansas anymore
2. Credidi me felem vidisse! - I tought I taw a puddy tat!
3. Dic mihi solum facta, domina - Just the facts, ma'am
4. Draco dormiens nunquam titillandus - Never Tickle a Sleeping Dragon.(Harry Potter Alma Matermotto)
5. Farrago fatigans! - Thuffering thuccotash!
6. Te capiam, cunicule sceleste! - I'll get you, you wascally wabbit!
7. Luke sum ipse patrem te - Luke, I am your father. (Star Wars)
8. Me transmitte sursum, caledoni! - Beam me up, Scotty!
9. Monstra mihi pecuniam! - Show me the money!
10. Potestatem obscuri lateris nescis - You don't know the power of the dark side. (Star Wars)
11. Osculare pultem meam! - Kiss my grits!
12. Age. Fac ut gaudeam - Go ahead. Make my day!
And this last one was from the T13 header last week:
13. Re vera, cara mea, mea nil refert - Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn

Hope you enjoyed and maybe one day I'll get to see the sunshining again. If not, well at least it means I'm working on yet another book!

Huggles and hope all is well. See you when I can!
Donica

Kick butt on those edits, Donica! This set of quotes rules -- when was the last time I heard Kiss My Grits, in any language?

Love it!

Oh I love these!! I used latin phrases in my Halloween story that's coming out this year. I had so much fun looking up the phrases. Almost makes me want to go back and take a class.
