Where does the time go?

I can’t believe that the month January is already speeding to an end! I’m afraid that 2007 is going to whip by as quickly as 2006 did!

I’ve been writing Betraying Chase and unfortunately it feels as if this story is being wrung out of my head rather than flowing through my fingertips as Callye’s Justice did. There are some unanticipated twists that popped in while I wasn’t looking and while I’m confident BC is going to be an excellent read its just going to take longer for it to emerge complete.

Over the weekend I did have some thoughts on one of my other WIPs. I had to make some notes and set them to the side for future reference. I’m refusing to allow myself to work on anything else until I get Betraying Chase finished. It doesn’t have to be perfectly edited but I do HAVE to finish it before anything else is worked on.

Am I the only one disappointed with the weather? I’m absolutely jealous of Colorado and some of the other states that have received inches upon inches of the cold wet stuff. I keep wishing for anywhere between 12 and 24 inches to come and blanket out area but every time Mom Nature lets me down. This past weekend they were calling for a winter weather storm. I once more assured my friends and family that this area would see nothing…and unfortunately I was right. A mere two inches floated from the sky to settle on the lawns. There’s still a few more weeks of winter so maybe Mother Nature will hear my plea and grant a major snowstorm to me. But I won’t hold my breath.
