Once more it's been too long

...since I posted.

Last week was massively busy for me but this week seems to be a little lighter.

Lets see what happened last week. I wrote the story for the Christmas anthology and haven’t heard back on it yet. But I did receive word that Do Overs will be picked up and is on the November release schedule! WOOHOO!!!! I’m excited for this release. Almost as excited as I am waiting for the release of Storm’s story in October.

Also last week I did four read through edits on Maryna’s story. One each day (Tuesday through Friday) so I could send her to the editor’s in box as well. So now two witches are finished and in the can: Storm Chasing and The Tides of Maryna’s Love. I also picked up on Ember’s Flame and only got about 6 pages total written on her story last week. I’m aiming to be more productive this week. We’ll have to see.

I spent most of Friday getting things finished for a surprise baby shower I gave for my cousin Amy. Her face was priceless. She’d been misinformed that the shower was for my SIL so when she arrived I looked at her and shouted SURPRISE! She smiled and went on and my mom was like “This is your shower.” Then she was really shocked and happy! I’m so happy it turned out as well as it did. Her baby Dylan is such a tiny little angel. He’s just hit 8 pounds. He’s a little over a month old and absolutely adorable. I’m going to upload a picture once I’m able to retrieve it from my digital camera.

The reunion/anniversary deal for my old high school is this Friday and Saturday and my nerves are starting to get to me. I know we’re all adults and high school was too many years ago to announce but I still feel uneasy about it. I am starting to waver in my resolve about going. I know its silly but there it is. I’m sure I’ll probably end up going…maybe…And I was only kidding about going only so I could rub in to my former school mates that I’m a successful author. Well ok there is a 90% kidding factor in there.

Well I need to get into working gear. I’ll be seeing you all again soon!
