is almost at an end and I feel like I've been spinning my wheels. Things do seem to be looking up ever more slightly but its the right direction anyway.
I'm waiting on the next round of edits for Always Love but according to the editor I won't be seeing them for a few more weeks, she's leaving town for a while. Lucky Lady gets to go to IRELAND! how jealous am I???
So I have time to relax, (what is that?) I'm backing off my stressing over Ember and Tara. They will get done, there is no law that says they have to be finished right this second, right? Of course right. So I'm sitting back a bit and allowing myself to breath for a bit before slamming headlong into it.
Actually I've been playing with a suspense novel. It's gritty, its hard, the romance isn't a primary theme, but there is some undercurrrent between the hero and heroine. I'm just trying my wings and branching out in a new direction. It may that this is one of those books that never sees the light of day, but I'm having fun trying to see if I can do it.
My DD got me addicted to the series Charmed. When she first started watching it a few years back I never sat down to watch it, I had no interest. I was like ok each generation has witches they love. My generation was Bewitched and Tabitha (anyone remember that short lived gem? LOL) and now DD's generation has charmed. Well A few weeks ago I caught the reruns on TNT and I was hooked. I found myself pulling for Cole to over come his evil and be with Pheobe ( Dont spoil it for me folks, like I said I'm just now discovering this program) And I decided that I would also start watching the new episodes on Sunday Nights. Of course this is the series last season! Wouldn't you know it? So now not only am I going to have to get the rest of my Bewitched DVDS but now I have to start investing in the Charmed ones as well....
Ok enough of my goofing off I need to go back and see if i can focus and get some work done.
I'll see you all again soon!
Have a great weekend! Huggles and Happy Reading,
Donica
