Thank you

For all the kind birthday wishes! Made my day!

Also a special thanks to Becca for her ideas to help me break through my museblock.

Don't have a whole lot to add today. I don't even have a Did You Know! Hmmmm wonder if I can come up with something...

Ok in Maryna's book, her chaperone is Triton, a dolphin. His name comes from the greek demigod Triton.

Did You Know Triton was the son of the Greek god of water Poseidon and Amphotrite, his wife. When the sea god Poseidon wanted her as his bride, she declined the honor and hid from him in the Atlantic Ocean. A dolphin not only located her, but also brought her back to him, and he married her. The dolphin was awarded a place in heaven.

Triton lives with them in a golden palace in the depths of the sea. He rides the waves on horses and sea monsters and he carries a twisted conch shell, upon which he blows either violently or gently, to stir up or calm the waves. Triton is represented as having the body of a man with the tail of a fish, but sometimes also with the forefeet of a horse.

All righty Ladies and Gents, time for me to head off to work!

Huggles and Happy Reading!
Donica
