What day is it?

It's Thursday, right? That means this week is almost over? HALLELUJAH! Yesterday was D day. Yep The kid and I had an appointment with the dentist for teeth cleaning, and her crown. Turns out now we get to line the pocket of an orthodontist next. Poor DD has three teeth growing into the same socket on one upper, the other side has two extra teeth. On the bottom there are two extra. The dentist assures us that by cutting the teeth out the kid's going to have a fabulous smile. How does this kid feel? Insane? She's HOPING she'll have to have braces! *shakes head*

I have got to get back to work. Today I'm just really kind of tired today, wishing I could nap. THe DD stayed home from school today, her stomach was really upset.

The new book idea is still grappling for my attention but Ember is beginning to pout because I've failed to pay full attention to her.

I know that this view isn't popular around the world, but this is my blog and I'm going to take a few minutes to say something that I WANT to say, that NEEDS to be said: GOD BLESS AMERICA! Thank God and the Soldiers who fought to give me that right!

Something that irks me to the very core: Even if you disagree with Mr. Bush SHOW HIM RESPECT! Mr. Bush is our president, he may be viewed as the best or the worst, depends on what you think, but for goodness sake, by his office he is owed respect! The beauty of our democracy, is if we don't like something we can vote to change it! So quit your pissing and moaning and work to change what you don't like!

If you don't believe in the War, that's your right. But there are groups who protest the war by picketing soldiers funerals! Yes, you read that right! Protesting a funeral? Who the hell are you people? Do you not have feelings? What if it were your son/daughter/wife/husband/mother/father/brother/sister? How would you like people waiting there making the worst time of your life even more like hell? Show some respect! The soldier gave his/her life doing their duty to their country. Don't you have anything better to do than bitch and moan and torment a grieving family?

To all the men and women who are serving in the Armed Services around the world:Iraq, Kuwait, or one of the hundreds of bases in America, no matter where you are, THANK YOU! Your sacrifices are well appreciated! The dangers you face, the risks you take, the time you spend away from your homes and familes so that I can be safe with mine, YOU ARE THE BEST! I pray for each one of you every day. You haven't been forgotten.

Ok I'm stepping off my soap box. If I've offended anyone, I'm sure you expect me to apologize...it won't happen. I'm not sorry for expressing my views and opinions, it's my right.

Huggles,
Donica
