Forgot

I forgot to add my Did You Know yesterday, oh well here it is for today.

Did you know that there were a few spinoffs of Bewitched? Really! When Bewitched ended,in 1973 there was a Saturday morning cartoon special Hannah Barabara (Flintstones, Jetsons, Scooby Doo) called Tabitha, Adam and the Clown family. The Stephen's kids sang with a circus troup. This program only aired once.

Then about 1975 William Asher (created Bewitched and was married to Elizabeth Montgomery for a short time) helped do a pilot called Tabatha which starred Liberty Williams. The show was only aired once and flopped, failing to be picked up by ABC.

Then in 1977, Tabitha was released and much of the same crew was used, including make up people, but Ms. Montgomery and Dick Sargent were not involved nor did they ever show up in an episode. The Murphy girls, Erin and Diane who had played Tabitha in the original series were too young for the part so they got 22 year old Lisa Hartmen to play Tabitha.

And for country music fans, we know that Lisa grew up and married Clint Black.

In writing news, I have just completed my first book in my Elemental Desires series! The writing challenge I chose to take part in, the NaNo proved to be the kick in the seat I needed and the goal of 50k was reached and surpassed! I concluded the book with a word count total of 57,725. My book total is actually 60k so I now get to go through and see where I can plump, expand and make the story more interesting. Now I just wish it was time for the book to be turned in and published! As soon as I make sure I have the book perfect I'm sending it to my editor for a run through.

I still haven't figured out how to add the comments section back, so please feel free to email me or drop into my website and sign my guest book. Also if you have any idea how to put the comments section, please contact me at donicacovey@hotmail.com Thanks!

Well off to read over the manuscript and do some perfecting! See you all later!

Huggles,
Donica

Donica!! I'm so proud of you for finishing your first book for Elemental Desires! I cannot wait to read this one, and I'm bummed that it doesn't come out until October 2006. :(

But majoro CONGRATS are in order not only for the book, but for this blog as well. Keep it up, woman! :D
